For me, the upcoming election embodies all the best of the maelstrom of United States politics: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hot issues I follow closely include: the war in Iraq, immigration, civil liberties and health care. As someone who makes & teaches video, I am focused on the exciting explosion of user-made material on the web. I am especially interested in perspectives from youth and folks outside of the U.S.

Originally hailing from the Midwest, I’ve made the San Francisco bay area my home for over a decade and a half. When not biking around on my rusty steed, I volunteer with the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights. My favorite Beatle is Yoko Ono and this is my favorite beetle.
