Nonvoters

This short piece was made by young European filmmakers who documented nonvoters around the US. In it, New Orleans resident Donna, who lived through Katrina with her son Dante, explains that she has “no faith whatsoever in politics” after the way the hurricane was mishandled. She hasn’t voted since the storm. The video is probutcool and comes via Sarolta Cump:

Tobacco farmer turned grape grower Greg Hyman from Conway, South Carolina, also says he has lost “all faith in politicians.” He doesn’t plan on voting, either. This picture was taken by a Manhattan-based architecture student named Daniella Zalcman who has been photographing parts of the campaign:
