The Republican Youth Vote
Posted by Katherine | July 24, 2008 – 3:30 pmMany young Republicans appear concerned that their ranks are thinning. Not so Ian Gallagher, UVA student and intern at the university’s Center for Politics. He rallied support for McCain during the Virgina primary, and he’s not giving up on his generation. He thinks Republican values and votes are there among 18- to 25-year-olds, even if young conservatives aren’t as loud as their liberal counterparts. This probutcool clip is part of a “Campus Voices” series from Harvard’s Institute of Politics. It’s from primary day back in February but fully relevant to the general election. (Thanks, Ann Raber.)
Maybe some online organizing before November in addition to that diner canvassing?
