Onwards and upwards

We’re going to stick around for a little while. Through the inauguration at the end of January. To ease you through any post-election blues.

Of course without the full team, things will be somewhat different around here. I’ll be working part-time to continue bookmarking the tsumani of election-day content, follow Obama’s transition team, and maybe highlight some things from the archives that we didn’t have time to feature on the blog during the madness of the campaign.

I’ll also be doing some site housecleaning (vacuuming the About page, dusting off the tags…) and some reporting on the project.

Thankfully several fantastic partners in crime are staying put: Genevieve Sponsler, John Barth, Charles Lane, and Jake Shapiro. Throughout the campaign, Genevieve has tirelessly offered her astute second opinion on the tricker pieces in the collection. John IMs all of the critical news stories (and political gossip) that I’ve usually had my head too buried in YouTube to notice. Charles never fails to step in and explain something I can’t decipher. And Jake holds the whole ship on a steady course.

So look for a post or two a week. Different rhythm but same BVox style.
