Pseudopop (featured previously here) mulls over many things with pen and paper. Here it's the middle class. Because of the Wall Street crisis, it's become central to the election (and to campaign spats); but what, pseudopop wonders, does the term actually mean?

This week's New Yorker cover shows Barack Obama dressed as a Muslim, Michelle outfitted as a Black Panther/terrorist, a flag burning in the fireplace, and Osama bin Laden in a gilt frame on the wall. It is, of course satire. Or it's supposed to be. It seems to be confusing ...

Another find from Ann Raber. This card was sent with apparent fondness from a Republican dad in Florida to a Democratic daughter in Texas. The daughter's note below the photo describes previous teasing in which dad sold daughter his truck and delivered it outfitted it with Bush memorabilia.
